Yes, Zeta Phi Nu conducts background checks, including social media and reference checks. The process varies if you are a legacy with a recommendation from a current member.
2. What is the membership count and chapter size?

Membership numbers vary, and we prefer to emphasize quality over quantity. We tend to grow during our Spring and Fall intake seasons.
3. Are there available chapters?
​
Zeta Phi Nu is a nationwide sorority. Chapters with fewer than 5 members are provisional until they reach the minimum. Your membership status remains unaffected during this time.
4. Are current members of other Greek organizations eligible

Yes, Zeta Phi Nu allows dual membership, as long as it complies with our Bylaws. Please disclose your active memberships on your application.
5. What is the time commitment?

Time commitment varies by chapter and member. Expect a heavier time commitment during the new member education program. Most chapters require attendance at monthly meetings and involvement in various events.

6. How long is the pledge process?
The Member Intake Process lasts 6 weeks and occurs twice a year, in Spring and Fall.
7. Do you have a Legacy?

You are considered a Legacy if you have a sister, daughter, mother, or granddaughter who is a member of Zeta Phi Nu.
8. Is Zeta Phi Nu part of the Divine Nine?

Zeta Phi Nu Sorority operates independently and is not affiliated with the National Pan-Hellenic Council, though we share similar principles focused on community service and empowerment.
